리모트 플라즈마 장비는 일반적인 대기압 플라즈마의 강한 전기적, 열적 특성을 피하고 부드러운 화학적 플라즈마 표면처리가 필요한 산업에 사용되도록 개발 및 생산된 장비입니다. 처리속도가 다소 느린 점이 단점이지만 광폭으로 (미터급) 플라즈마 헤드를 제작할 수 있는 장점이 있습니다. DBD(dielectric barrier discharge)방식으로 유전체(dieletric material : 세라믹, 쿼츠 등)를 이용하여 헤드 전면부에 방전시키고 여기에 메인 반응 가스인 산소, 수소, 등을 넣어 플라즈마 특성을 추가하는 방식입니다. 광폭의 평면제품에 특화되어 있으며 유효처리 거리는 헤드로부터 2~4mm 정도입니다. 특히 Ar가스를 사용할 경우 오존 및 NOx가스 발생량이 거의없어 별도의 벤트설비 없이도 실내에서 장비 사용이 가능합니다.

Remote plasma equipment was developed to avoid the strong electrical and thermal characteristics of general atmospheric pressure plasma and to be used in industries that require smooth chemical plasma surface treatment. The processing speed is a bit slow, but it is great for manufacturing a wide (meter grade) plasma head. It uses DBD(dielectric barrier discharge) method, in which argon gas (Ar) or nitrogen (N2) gas as carrier gas is discharged to the front part of the head by using a dielectric material (ceramic, quartz, etc.) and the main reaction gas such as oxygen, hydrogen, etc. is inserted into the head to create the required plasma. It is specialized for wide flat products and the effective processing distance is about 2~4mm from the head. In particular, when Ar gas is used, ozone and NOx gas are hardly generated allowing the equipment to be used without a separate vent facility.
